The recollection of summer 2023 has become nebulous. Not only was it physically taxing (particularly on Chris) but it was mentally straining on the two of us as well, which has made us crave the days where our biggest problem was deciding if we should go to shore and hike or snorkel around Avocet. Since being back in California, things have been moving fast - lake sailing, deck work, working in general, biking, and buying a house.... yah... a lots happening. Buckle up!

Film drop! 🎞️ Of course while back in California we squeezed in some Ventura time - homeport sweet homeport 😌 The harbor was as gorgeous as ever and our old marina welcomed back a legendary visitor S/Y Chubasco 😍 I just love how she looks on film 🤤 It was great to get the gang together to enjoy the evening on the party dock, which was part of a dock renovation project that I helped execute as the business manager of the marina before we sailed off. No matter how far we sail, Ventura will always hold a big chunk of our hearts ❤️

It was a quick trip for our dear friend’s wedding, but the Ventura sunset put on a show for our short stay 😍 Where was the best sunset you have ever seen?
